  2. Today effectively marked a new chapter in my life, a good one i hope! Not really sure why i felt the need to write this down - i guess it’s because i rarely use this as an actual ‘blog’ so this seems like a good place to start. So bear with me while i attempt my first actual ‘blog’ post…Today - Dan and i started ‘Garden City’ - our very own clothing brand. We have both worked out of our skin to make this possible with very little outside help at all. We’ve both worked in our chosen professions from a young age. He’s been involved in Music since early teens and i too have been in Art & Design for just as long. This is a whole new experience for both of us and it’s a challenge that we are both looking forward too.I’ve worked designing apparel for bands / companies / individuals and artists for years but i’ve never really stepped beyond giving the client a print file and letting them go from there. It’s been a steep learning curve for the both of us over the past 6 months but ultimately when i look back at the final product today i feel very proud of what we have achieved already. I really do believe that this brand could be something, whether that be in 10, 15, 20 or 50 years i don’t know - but i do know that we have a vision for this brand and the future looks promising.I don’t really know why i’m writing this - maybe just excitement at what twists and turns lay ahead or maybe because after countless late nights and near breakdowns i’m glad that it’s finally out in the open! Either way i hope you keep buying into the brand and make it what we believe it can be.
